More Books!

I have started reading the five first books but decided to visit the store Martin found, to get even more. If you are interested, the store is La Legende in the tunnel between Place Ville-Marie and Eaton Centre (in Montréal, of course).

They are closing, so most of their stuff (including mangas) are on sale.

I have the following new books:

The Day of the Triffids, by John Wyndham
Arcturus Landing, by Gordon R. Dickson
The Great Time machine Hoax, by Keith Laumer
The Traveler in Black, by John Brunner
Alpha Centauri or Die!, by Leigh Brackett
The Puppet Masters, by Robert A.Heinlein
The Revenge of Dracula, by Peter Tremayne
French Lessons; Adventures with Knife, Fork, and Corkscrew, by Peter Mayle
Planets Three, by Frederik Pohl
Medusa's Children, by Bob Shaw
Manseed, by Jack Williamson

Mostly fiction and especially Science-Fiction. It will be a grueling test, as I find Science-Fiction to be one of the most boring genres created.* I will try to balance the list with non-fiction, as soon as I find the proper books.

Most Science-Fiction books use space/technical jargon to hide the lack of a coherent plot. At least, that is my belief so far. Hopefully, this will change.
